this trip has been very injury-ful.

i got cut by a twig in alishan,

got stung by jellyfishes in ken ding,

elbow got cut while sliding,

bumped my head twice while sliding,

drank one mouthful of sea water (which who knows have how much pee in there)

my scab was torn off,

huge blister under my foot exploded and the skin was torn off

and the numerous headaches i keep getting.

anyways, the trip was good, except for some stuffs. (including the fact that i got fatter)

let me tell you peeps a story today

here goes:

a family consisting of one father, one mother, 4 kids (with one eldest brother and 3 sisters) and a grandmother were living in a house.

one fine morning, the mother, 2 of the daughters, namely the eldest daughter and the youngest of all the siblings, and the grandmother were having breakfast together.

as the LITTLELEST, SHORT-HANDED, DUMB, IDIOTIC youngest girl couldn't reach the cutleries that were in front of the eldest daughter. the eldest, already having her own set of cutleries, decided to pass the rest of the cutleries (which only consists of 2 porcelain spoons) to the youngest.

when the youngest had grabbed the spoons, the eldest, of course, let go.

well, UNFORTUNATELY, one of the spoons dropped from her oh-so-tiny hand (more like fat and stubby) and it landed on the floor and broke.

with that sight, the mother said to her eldest daughter, "why did you have to pass 2 spoons to her?"

"because i already have my own set of cutleries. why do i have to have so many sets of cutleries when i already have what i need?" the eldest replied.

today was a happening day!
in the morning, went to the esplanade library to do marketing project.
on the bus to esplanade,
there's this lady who alighted near toa payoh,
then alot of ppl were coming up the second deck,
she wanted to get down,
but scared the bus uncle would go off,
so she pressed the STOP bell for quite a number of times.
then since that stop, the bell kept ringing,
like throughout the bus journey.
the bus captain came up to the second deck
to check on the "pranksters"
other passengers (old uncles) all thought the bell spoil,
so the bus captain,thinking there were pranksters
scolded expletives on the second time he came up to check,
all those dialect expletives
wa,when the old uncles heard them,they all scold back sia
using dialect expletives,including the ones calvin,tommy and eric use
when i looked around to see if there were any pranksters,
i just saw two guys smiling/laughing (suspicious)
so,when the 2 guys alight,
the ringings stop.
so,ya.
and one of the guys mysteriously look like a CHINA CHINESE
now you know.
after the project,
i went off for my can!run
on the way there,
i was totally disgusted by the huge amount of disgusting looking ppl
and worst paired pair (couples)
like woah,
i never knew ppl these grotesque could get together
anyways,
i went for my run,
took my nice tshirt.
BUT,
i forgot to take my certificate.
damn.
anyways,on the way back to serangoon,
there's this really old ang moh
a lady, gave up her seat to him
then the lady,after a few stops alighted.
then at the boon keng stop,
the old ang moh came up to me and said:
"what's your name?"
me: "ermmmmmm (thinking that i shouldnt be talking to strangers,but thought again that ang mohs are kind and helpful and more beautiful looking than ordinary ppl,continued)...jerraldine?(as if i didnt know my name)
old ang moh(OAM): you are very kind,i'll talk about you during assembly.actually i'm a school principal.thank you,you are very kind

either i didnt sit down(because there were quite a number of old ppl around) or the OAM principal thought i was the lady who gave up my seat to him(and another old lady)

but i'm not even in NYJC
but i think given his age(usually paired with short term memory)
i doubt he will remember to praise such a wonderful girl like me
even if i did not give up my seat to him

today's incident has made me realised many things.

i was silly to even think that i'm part of this family,this place i called home.

to think that he even cared for me,as she is caught up with the others.

but i was wrong.

the one always taken for granted.

like that incident on the 70-year-old's birthday.

and the incidents whereby i'm the one having to paint the walls,beause nobody else wanted to help,

as if it was all my responsibility as a daughter.

today's class bbq

so as planned,we went prawning this morning.

only me,joel,timothy and hejun were able to make it.

AND I DID IT!!!

i proved to you ppl that i can catch prawns!

and i believe i caught more than you all in the hour!

but then i had to leave as i thought the food delivery ppl will come at 2.

but in the end,they came at 4.20!!!

arghh!made me miss prawning!

damn.

anyways,renovations were rushed out in time for the bbq!

then they came,

talked,bbq-ed,ate,talked

exchanged gifts!!!

and then they played games.

the platoon was split into 3

daidi,bluff/cheat/heart attack and chess

had fun!

but i ate alot!bah!

and i believe timothy gained at least 1 kg,

judging by the way he eats.

haha.

bathed early in the morning,dressed nice nice (my clothes are never nice,but to me,yesterday's top was one of the nicest i have)

went to pray to grandfather,had a mini gathering of the aunties,uncles and cool cousins. (with the smoke,ash and dust too)

then i did gardening in my nice top,

dripped something on my nice top during lunch,

and baked coconut macaroons in my nice top.

after that,i met up with fiona without bathing :D (i changed clothes though)

passed her christmas present

and we went to look for the shoes i want.

we walked.

went on a crazy bus ride today.

wanted to go straight to suntec after school but mummy asked me to go to daddy's office,

so i thought that i could take ct 8 to chinatown from xinyi's hse there

so i took 8

but then halfway, i thought that i should go to suntec straight

so i asked xinyi how to go,she said take train

have to take 60 to eunos station

so i dropped one stop before her house to take 60

at the bus stop,i was thinking

i'm on bus concession,maybe i should take bus

but i don't know which bus to take

so i took 15 to eunos link as there are more buses there and the possibility of any going to suntec would be higher.

there wasn't any bus going to suntec from eunos link,

so i decided to take the train then.

so,i took a bus to toa payoh int as the duration of train taking will be shorter compared to the green line.so i took 59.

but then,59 doesnt go INTO the bus interchange.

so i dropped near the interchange and took bus 90 to the interchange.

when i reached toa payoh int,i wanted to take the train.

THEN,i saw on the board that 56 goes near to suntec,so i decided to take bus,

BECAUSE I'M ON BUS CONCESSION

but then,toa payoh int doesn't have 56.but i know somewhere where there is.

in toa payoh area.

so,i took 155 to that area then took 56 to suntec.

SO IN SUMMARY, i took 6 buses to get from tampines to suntec:

8-15-59-90-155-56,

WHEN I COULD HAVE TAKEN 8 DIRECTLY FROM SCHOOL TO TOA PAYOH INTERCHANGE,CHANGE TO 155/28 THEN TO 56 TO SUNTEC

3 buses vs. 6 buses

imagine how much $$ i would have wasted if i wasn't on bus concession?6 buses!

now is the time when you feel lucky that you have bus concession.
